LOGIN

If you are a concurrent high school student and it is your first time accessing Odysseyware, your user name and password is your student ID.

 

LOGOUT

Make sure that you LOGOUT when you are finished.  This will make sure that all of your coursework has been saved.

 

PRETESTS

You will be assigned a pretest for each unit. If you score 70% of higher, the system will assign the next unit pretest. If your score is less than 70%, then the system will assign all the lessons, projects, quizzes and unit test for that particular unit. The following courses DO NOT have unit pretests: Career Choices and Health.

 

ASSIGNMENTS

You will have a list of ASSIGNMENTS DUE. Please follow this list so that you will be able to complete your courses on time.  There are DUE DATES that you must follow. Please follow the calendar so that you can complete your assignments on time.

 

LESSONS

After each question, you will need to click SUBMIT ANSWER. You must score 70% on each assignment in order to go on to the next assignment.

Some lessons have more than one section.  Please complete all sections before you click on SUBMIT LESSON.

At the end of each lesson, quiz, test, project, or essay, you will need to click SUBMIT LESSON at the right hand top of the page.

 

QUIZZES

On a quiz, you will have three attempts to get 70%.  If you score at least a 70%, then it will not be reassign it again unless requested.  If you score less than 50%, the teacher will reassign the whole quiz.  If you score more than 50%, the teacher will reassign only those questions that you have missed.  After we have reassigned the quiz twice, whatever you score on your third attempt will be your grade for that quiz.  The quizzes are weighted more than the assignments, so if you receive a low score, it will bring your grade down.

 

UNIT TESTS

On a unit test, you will have two attempts to get 70%.

When you begin a quiz or test, you must finish it.  If you log out, it will not let you back in until a teacher reassigns it for you.

 

ANSWER BOXES

If there is an answer that has a box in which you must type an answer, then please answer it.  If you do not answer it, the teacher will reassign it..

After you type in your answer in the answer box, make sure you click on SUBMIT ANSWER.  If you don’t, it won’t send your answer to the teacher.

Always remember to click on SUBMIT LESSON.

 

PROJECTS, ESSAYS, AND EXPERIMENTS

You have to do all of the essays, projects, and experiments that are assigned to you in order to get credit for a course.  We do not give zeroes on projects, essays, or experiments.  You cannot take a final until all assignments are completed.

 

FINAL TEST

You only have one attempt on your final test. What you score on that test will be the grade you receive for that test.

 

MESSAGES

In order to send the teacher a message, click on MESSAGES.  Click on NEW MESSAGE. Choose the teacher, type your message, and click SEND.  Make sure you check to see if you have messages from your teachers.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

ALL course work must be completed to earn a final grade for the course, which must be completed by the end of the quarter. Incomplete courses will receive a No Grade (NG) as a final grade. No extensions will be provided.
